Description

Nestled in the serene settlement of Ano Meria along the main road, this exquisite three-level villa is a harmonious blend of luxury and nature, offering breathtaking northwest views of the sea and the western expanse of Folegandros. Situated on a distinctive plot, the property is designed to provide privacy, comfort, and an authentic connection to its surroundings. The villa is thoughtfully divided into two distinct sections: the main house and a separate guesthouse, both encompassed by an expansive exterior space. Its unique architectural design incorporates three levels, each serving specific purposes. The street-facing level provides direct access and features small windows to ensure privacy and shield the interiors from the sun. The lower level opens directly to the outdoor area, offering seamless integration with the natural environment. An underground level houses auxiliary spaces, ensuring functionality without disrupting the villa's elegance. Strategically placed larger windows on the north side flood the interior with natural light while framing the spectacular sea views. The villa's ground floor features a charming courtyard on its eastern side, directly connected to the upper floor. This protected space, shaded by a pergola and bordered by solid walls, mirrors the traditional 'lemon house' structures of Folegandros, designed to shelter lemon trees from the island's robust winds. Ingeniously, parts of these walls are movable, providing flexibility in shielding against harsh weather conditions. The surrounding landscape has been preserved with minimal intervention, respecting the island's natural topography and existing formations. The sparse planting aligns with the region's authentic aesthetic, maintaining the villa's organic integration into its environment. Energy Efficient A by design, this villa embodies sustainability, blending seamlessly with the untouched beauty of Folegandros while offering unparalleled luxury and tranquillity. Eligible for Greece Golden Visa - Area with minimum investment 400000.
